400 hectors of land has been utilised for Fruit & Timber based plantation in Namkum block, Ranchi to improve the livelihood of farmers. The promotion of mixed farming and inter-cropping with use of drip irrigation facilities and sprinklers in the field was initiated with the support of Department of Agriculture, Ranchi under NMSA guidelines.
