Since 2019, CCDS has been implementing community infrastructure development initiatives aimed at improving basic amenities, rural connectivity, and sustainable livelihood infrastructure for local communities.

Under this programme, various development activities have been successfully undertaken in Panipada and Banabuda villages of Baharagora Block, East Singhbhum District, Jharkhand. Key interventions include the installation of solar street lights, providing reliable and sustainable lighting facilities and improving safety within the villages.

The programme also includes solar-powered drip irrigation systems, supporting farmers with efficient water management and sustainable agricultural practices. In addition, PCC roads of up to 500 metres have been constructed to improve village connectivity and facilitate the movement of residents, agricultural produce, and essential services.

Community halls have also been developed to provide a common space for village meetings, training programmes, awareness activities, social gatherings, and other community-based initiatives.

Through these interventions, CCDS continues to contribute towards improving rural infrastructure, strengthening community facilities, promoting sustainable development, and enhancing the overall quality of life of rural communities in Panipada and Banabuda villages.
